Summary: By the far the worst game EVER!
Comment: And i've been playing games since the days of PACMAN.. WWE RAW is the worst game I have ever played.
There are various things that go into giving WWE RAW this dubius honor, the biggest flaw of the game has to be the gameplay.
Here I am playing as Big Show against Kane, and I kick the living daylights out of Kane. I tried pinning him several times, but to no avail. Then in my umpteenth attempt of pinning Kane, Kane kicked out. Better yet, he kicks out and simply pins Big Show (me), and yup, you guessed it... VICTORY FOR KANE.
So, if you are fond of a game where you lose for no apparent reason, WWE RAW is your game.
The AI is all over the place, doing things you dont want it to do.
The lack of a season mode just adds to the one dimensionality of the game.
Practically speaking you can never use any of the weaker wrestlers (no matter how much you have mastered the game).
The tutorial has to be by far the laziest effort. It pretty much reads the manual. 'X is for punching, Y for blocking, etc'. Unlike most other games where you can try stuff out in the tutorials to get used to the controls and develop a muscle memory.
I usually dont write reviews for any game. But just for this one game, I specifically got an Amazon ID just so that i could warn fellow gamers.
THQ Developers, thats 10 bux you have robbed me of.. but thats the last $10 you will ever get out of me. I was thinking of exchaning WWE RAW for RAW2, but hey, once bitten twice shy.
If you do happen to buy the game, please let me know how to kick out after being pinned (the AI does it all the time)

and now there is WWE WrestleMania 22 comin` for XBox 360.I bet that one sux eswell-since its predo`s sucked bad!
If THQ arn`t gonna make a good wrestling game-don`t make any at all.Since RAW is WAR was my first Xbox game-i had to play it until i got more-so i guess i awed at the graphics-which shew me that XBox graphics kiked azz,i guess it was fun thatchu could attack rivals on their way to the ring.But seriously unless you are a WWE fan and want a pile of WWF/WWE games in your closet-i guess u cud get it for that-But there are no other reason to purchse it.If u ever try it and like it..well thatsu ain`t it.

I guess i would haveta say that WWF WM X8 was best,then SD! 3 and then the BAD BAD WWF RAW is WAR.the latest wrestling game i own is WWE SmackDown! vs. RAW 2006-which is pretty cool.I am a WWE and TNA fan,i watch them,i play wrestling video-games,sometimes i buy WWE/TNA DVD PPVs.
and i can say XBox`s RAW is WAR is the krappest one.Its actually behind even WWF WarZone that i had on my old Nintendo 64!
this is the third WWF/WWE RAW game to comeout-as i count "WarZone" and "Attitude" as part of the RAW series.
the final RAW game/or atleast the latest RAW game out is WWE RAW 2.
There is nothing exciting in this game-i guess wrestling is fine but there are no specialty matches!-not even the STEEL CAGE match.Which was in past WWF games.But this game was not intended to be an "Arcade" wrestling game-but a wrestling simulater.and intended to be more "TV like"-sorry but i get enough of that about three times a week(WWE RAW,SmackDown! and i also watch TNA iMPACT!).
Though WWF WrestleMania X8 and WWF SmackDown! Just Bring It! were ok-they were not up to everyones standards-ESPECIALLY WWF RAW!
The only reason u should have this in your XBox collection is for your wrestling games look good.(P.S.:I own all three systems XBox,PS2 and GameCube).
